- 1 lb fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 bunch asparagus spears, washed and trimmed
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested

- Combine and Add Lemon: Return asparagus to the skillet with shrimp. Pour in lemon juice and sprinkle lemon zest over the top. Gently stir to coat everything in the lemon garlic sauce.
- Season and Serve: Season with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes to taste. Toss once more, garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve immediately.
